St Cyrus – Aberdeenshire
Walk down the path from the Nature Reserve and alongside the ocean edge to find this typical example of a watch-house.
|A wee little watch-house, very typical in style.|
Nestled in the bottom corner of the church yard is a watch-house that although currently in good condition, appears to be frequented by bonfire lighting adventurers. An unassuming structure, built only just large enough to keep a couple of watchmen warm and dry on the nights they were required.
